Dance like nobody's watching.
Dance because the music moves you.
Dance through the sunshine and dance in the rain.
Dance with purpose, or because dance IS your purpose.
Dance, even if the stages are dark.

They don't stop, so we won't either. From cancelled performances to closed studios, practice at home and seasons that ended too soon. To our students, dance is more than a hobby, it is a way of life.
They will show us what it really means to keep dancing.
We need your help to make sure they never stop.

GMDT ended their 63rd Season abruptly, the night before the spring performances began. Our dancers, while heartbroken, exhibited an incredible amount of grace and spirit, despite it being the last performance for some. The start of Season 64 brought more disappointment as we made the difficult decision to remove the fall show from our season lineup. In addition to that, our annual Raise the Barre Gala was also cancelled, resulting in a loss of critical revenue for the organization. While we forge ahead with a reimagined Nutcracker and high hopes for our spring production of Swan Lake, we are asking for your help to support the grace, determination and resiliency of our dancers.

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning how to dance in the rain.”
